Solution: How to install XP in HP Pavilion DV6000

Well, HP Pavilion DV6000 comes with vista. And many programs do not work in vista. So you may want to change It to Windows XP. Here s the steps for that.

step 1. Press F10 when boot and in SYSTEM CONFIGURATION and disable SATA Native Support [Else you'll get a error message that there s no hard disk found in your system].

step 2. Install XP as normal

step 3. Get the Drivers from

This site

step 4. Download Intel 945 Express Chip set drivers from Intel for VGA drivers[in case if NVideo doesn't work]

step 5. Thats all. Enjoy.

[PS: This solved your problem? comment if it do or not. If this is not exactly your problem, please mail me. I can help you. randeep123@gmail.com . And If you found another way to solve it, please post it.. It will help a lot of people. Thank you]
